Buffalo County Sheriff's Office

The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Certified Deputy Sheriff. 

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age; have a valid Nebraska driver’s license; a high school diploma or GED; no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions; be able to read, write and understand the English language; and be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Nebraska certification is preferred but not mandatory. Out of state certification must meet reciprocity requirements.  

Hourly pay, $28.98-$42.85, dependent upon the number of years of service.
